Chelsea Table and Stage was packed to the brim last Sunday evening for Jaye Maynard’s beautiful Blossom Dearie tribute show, BIRD AMONGST THE BLOSSOM. This stunning tribute served as a delicious preview to Maynard’s upcoming album, and one hopes Maynard will mount the show again to celebrate the release of the album.

This reviewer has said it before and shall say it again, Kevin Winebold is a one-man orchestra! His KEVIN ON THE KEYS CELEBRATES HOLLYWOOD show on April 25, 2024 was an entertaining night out featuring masterful piano and tap dance.

Theater artist Leslie Ayvazian is bringing her latest experiments in “mercurial minimalism” to Pangea. Starting May 7 and running through July 23 she boldly chronicles her coming of age in the ‘60s and ‘70s and the lingering legacies of genocide. We spoke with Ayvazian about the upcoming shows and the inspiration behind them.
