David Davila, the zany, not-so-hip-hipster from South Texas will make his 54 Below debut tonight, November 18th when he debuts songs from his upcoming musical, VOX POP: a musical revolution. He's previously played sold-out concerts of his work at the Laurie Beechman Theatre, the Triad, the Underground, and The West End Lounge, and the Intar Theatre.

'Held Momentarily' is a poignant new musical comedy about making connections, living in the moment, and moving on in life. Conceived by a group of classmates from LaGuardia Arts High School (the 'Fame' school), the piece was originally workshopped in January 2014 at The Producers' Club, continued on to the New York International Fringe Festival at The Sheen Center, and will now extend to the FringeNYC Encore Series at SoHo Playhouse, to be helmed by director Hunter Bird and produced by Lionel Christian and Marielle Young, today, September 11-21.

Two additional performances of ONE WOMAN SHOW have been added to Shakina's limited engagement at Sophie's, New York's newest midtown cabaret venue. Extending the sold-out run, new shows have been added May 1st at 10:30pm and May 2nd at 11pm.
