Associate Producer of Public Works - Dallas Theater Center

LISTING INFORMATION

The Associate Producer of Public Works serves a vital role in the growth and evolution of Dallas Theater Center’s

Public Works Department. In collaboration with the Director of Public Works and the theater’s Artistic and

Production staff, the Associate Producer manages the hiring, budgeting, artistic vision and implementation DTC’s

community-based productions. This position reports to the Director of Public Works and is responsible for producing

the theater’s participatory theater pageant, community touring programming, and school-time matinees.



The Associate Producer cultivates and manages relations with a wide variety of artists, educators and community

partners and serves on the theater’s producing team, with the Artistic Director, Director of Production, Artistic

Producer and General Manager. The Associate Producer ensures the successful creation and implementation of an

inspiring vision for the theater’s community-based productions which prioritizes artistry, racial equity, diversity,

collaboration, and joy. This is an Exempt, salaried position, with a full benefits package including medical, dental and

vision insurance and paid-time off. Some evenings and weekends may be required, as needed throughout the year.


Salary: 46-63,000 annually
