Danielle Grabianowski Returns to The Duplex Tonight
(6/19/2013) - Danielle Grabianowski, the award-winning singing actress whose performances have been likened to 'Barbra Streisand at the Bon Soir and Bette Midler at the Continental Baths' (Village Voice) makes a return to the club scene in an eclectic, impromptu set of standards, stories and pop tunes. She will perform two shows at The Duplex on Wednesdays, tonight, June 19 and August 28 at 7:00 PM. Grabianowski was last seen as the jazz singer Josephine Grant in the award-winning Off-Broadway sensation, Sleep No More. The evening will also feature longtime collaborator and fellow Buffalo, NY nativeNate Buccieri on piano.

Associate producer is Stevie Phillips. According to producer Rob Lester, this Centennial 'Cahn-cert' includes special 'Cahn-versations' about Sammy and a 'Cahn-Test' with prizes and a raffle.

(6/17/2013) - Adelaide cabaret stalwart, Libby O'Donovan, takes a very different tack for her latest production, Songs Only a Mother Could Love, a collection of songs that she, and others, learned from their mothers as children. O'Donovan is one of the most highly skilled and much loved of Adelaide's cabaret community and so every seat was filled and a good many more were happy to stand, just to be able to attend her performance.
Westchester Broadway Theatre Hosts Memorial Concert for Dorina DiLullo Tonight
(6/17/2013) - A bright light and close friend of the New York theater community, peers and performers will collaborate in a one night only cabaret style performance to honor Dorina Di Lullo, who passed away unexpectedly on March 28, 2013 at the age of 44. Survived by her husband Charles J. Richardson and two sons, Charlie and Bennett, all proceeds from this concert will go directly to the Dorina Di Lullo Memorial Trust, set up to lend aid to her children and loved ones in the wake of her passing.
Kevin Bush to Bring OFF THE TOP OF MY HEAD to Trustus Theatre, 6/21
(6/15/2013) - The Last Call Series at Trustus has brought the highly popular Plan 9 From Outer Space to the Thigpen Main Stage in 2012. Now it wraps up its season with Kevin Bush's creative cabaret evening Off the Top of My Head this summer. Bush will bring special guests Terrance Henderson, Vicky Saye Henderson, Jason Stokes, and his popular rocking brother Eddie Bush. The show will kick off on June 21, and will be performed one last time on July 12th. Doors open at 10:45pm following the evening performance of Ain't Misbehavin', and the show begins at 11:15pm. Tickets are $15.00 and are sold at the door.
