Nigel Osner's LOVE, DEATH AND OTHER OPPORTUNITIES Returns to the Pheasantry Tonight, Oct 16

Nigel Osner returns to the Pheasantry, 8.30PM tonight, Tues 16 October. His show is called 'Love, death and other opportunities!'

Nigel Osner, accompanied by Tom Wakeley, takes a look at the living and the not so living, mainly using his own lyrics and monologues. His characters include a love-sick Brummie, a gigolo, an American cougar - and a vampire! The show is directed by Matthew Gould. Guest performer Pippa Woodhouse Nigel previously appeared at the Pheasantry on 13 June.

Nigel Osner was once a practising barrister. He is now an actor, performer, lyricist and writer. He is the author of 'Magic in Ravenswood' (Heinemann) which he adapted into a musical called 'Goblins Don't Scare Us' with music by BB Cooper, premiered at the New End Theatre. In the last five years he has made or appeared in numerous short films and in 'The Drummond Will', an award winning feature film directed by Alan Butterworth. He has previously performed at venues including the Pizza on the Park, the Jermyn Street Theatre, the King's Head Theatre Islington, Madame Jojos, the Battersea Barge and the Green Carnation. For more information see www.nigelosner.com.

Tom Wakeley is a distinguished music director and musician with many credits in the West End and elsewhere. In the last few years he was a guest conductor in 'Chicago'. He is also vocal coach at RADA. For more information, see www.practicetracks.co.uk.

Matthew Gould is an up and coming director, with a background in musical theatre. His well- received production of 'The Mystery of Edwin Drood' played recently at the Arts Theatre. Click here.
