FEINSTEIN'S AT LOEWS REGENCY, the nightclub proclaimed "Best of New York" by New York Magazine, and "an invaluable New York institution" by The New York Post, will continue its star-studded Winter/Spring 2010 season with the debut of Broadway's 9 to 5 star, Megan Hilty for two shows Monday, April 26. For her show at Feinstein's Megan will pay tribute to famous blondes from the worlds of pop, country, Broadway and film in an evening of music either written or performed by flaxen beauties. The show runs at the Regency Hotel Ballroom (540 Park Avenue at 61st Street).
Megan Hilty received raved reviews and a Drama Desk Award Nomination, Outer Critics Circle Award Nomination, Drama League Nomination, and LA Ovation Nomination for Lead Actress in a Musical for her portrayal of Doralee Rhodes in Broadway's 9 to 5 The Musical. A native of Seattle, Megan moved to New York City after graduating from the prestigious Carnegie Mellon University and made her Broadway Debut as Glinda in the smash hit Wicked. Megan went on to perform that role in the National Tour and in Los Angeles.
Megan most recently starred in Two By Two, as part of the Reprise Series in Los Angeles, opposite Jason Alexander, Steve Webber & Faith Prince. Among her television credits are "The Closer," "Desperate Housewives," "CSI," "Shark," "Ugly Betty," "Eli Stone" and "The Suite Life of Zach & Cody." Megan's voice can be heard on Disney's "The Secret Life of Magic Gourd," "Phineas & Ferb," "Glen Martin DDS," "American Dad" and as the singing snow white in Shrek The Third, as well as numerous appearances on national television shows. She just finished shooting the independent film The Bitter Feast and will be starring opposite Justin Chambers in the short film The Happiest Man Alive. Megan recently performed with the Cincinnati Pops.
FEINSTEIN'S AT LOEWS REGENCY will present Megan Hilty for two performances Monday, April 26 at 8:00 PM and 10:30 PM. Both shows have a $40.00 cover with $60.00 premium seats available, in addition to a $25.00 food and beverage minimum. Jackets are suggested but not required.
