Krysta Rodriguez, Jason Gotay & More Join Drew Gasparini for I COULD USE A DRINK at Joe's Pub Tonight

Spending five weeks inside the iTunes top 100 pop albums, Drew Gasparini's I Could Use a Drink will return to where it all began at Joe's Pub, for a live performance of album hits, as well tunes still hot off the presses. But here's the catch; audiences will get a glimpse of Gasparini's singer/songwriter catalogue in addition to crowd favourites presented in an exclusive and intimate performance.

"It's summertime, so I'm bringing some California love over to the Pub," says Gasparini. "We are thrilled with the creative direction of this new show. It's the perfect hybrid of music theatre and my more commercial work."

Featuring a host of performers who will be singing Gasparini's songs for the first time, Krysta Rodriguez (First Date, Smash) and Jason Gotay (Bring It On) will lead the line up, with Preston Sadleir (Next to Normal), Garth Kravits (Drowsy Chaperone), Lauren Pritchard (Spring Awakening), and Julia Mattison (Godspell) set to bring to life to works Crazy Just Like Me, Circles, and Make Me Bad. Up and coming director Max Friedman (Broadway Big Band) joins the team, explaining "I'm eager to approach Drew's materialfrom a fresh perspective, especially with the addition of new voices and new material."

Long-time drinking enthusiasts Andrew Kober (Hair), Alex Brightman (Big Fish) & F. Michael Haynie (Wicked) will of course be making an appearance with Blake Daniel, Kacie Sheik (Spring Awakening), ERIK MICHAEL KROP (Godspell), ALEX OYEN, and KEITH WHITE. Keeping it in the family KASIE GASPARINI will join the line up, with sixteen-year-old powerhouse CHLOE GASPARINI, who has been celebrated for her work on "If I Had You" on the album.

Gasparini has been busy since the release of his album amongst development readings of Make Me Bad and #UntitledPopMusical, projects he is creating with Alex Brightman and Michael Kimmel (The Last Goodbye) respectively.
