Vocalist and Broadway actor, Janine DiVita will make her cabaret debut at 54 BELOW in the upcoming show Blonde Ammunition on July 31. Through country, jazz, standards and more, Janine explores tackling life with dreams of peroxide and a stellar set of pipes.

She was most recently seen in the Broadway revival of The Mystery of Edwin Drood. She made her Broadway debut playing Rizzo in the most recent revival of Grease opposite American Idol heartthrob, Ace Young, and she has also been seen in the Kathleen Marshall's Tony Award Winning Anything Goes as well as the First National Tour of Mel Brooks' Young Frankenstein. Classically trained, vocally versatile, and blithely witty, Janine's colors range from classical to Broadway and from pop and folk to jazz. As one reviewer put it "Janine DiVita is simultaneously innocent and vampish, with a voice that will rip your heart out of your chest."

The show is produced by The Broadway Consortium, LLC, directed by Kenny Howard and Musical Director Michael Moritz. Broadway Consortium's co-founder, Van Dean, stated, "We are thrilled to continue our 54 BELOW series of concerts with the outstanding talent of Janine DiVita. It will definitely be a night to remember." The show is Thursday, July 31, 2013 at 9:30 pm and tickets are available at www.54below.com.
