An evening with George S. Irving promises a treasure trove of theatre songs, pretty ballads and reminiscences, discreet and otherwise. His Broadway credits are too numerous to list here, but they range from the original opening of "Oklahoma!" through to "Me and My Girl". When pressed for particulars he finds he must resort to "Google" like everyone else. At the moment he can be seen at the York Theatre reprising his original role in "Enter Laughing: the Musical". He vaguely remembers some Lieder recitals and a few seasons at the New York City Opera.

Chita Rivera is an accomplished and versatile actress, singer and dancer who has won two Tony Awards as Best Leading Actress in a Musical (Kiss of the Spider Woman, The Rink) and received seven additional Tony nominations. Her electric performance as Anita in the Broadway premiere of West Side Story (1957) brought her stardom, which was repeated in London. Other career highlights include starring roles in the original Broadway casts of Bye Bye Birdie with Dick Van Dyke, and Jerry's Girls with Leslie Uggams and Dorothy Loudon, Guys and Dolls, Can-Can, Seventh Heaven and Mr. Wonderful opposite Sammy Davis, Jr. Her tours include Born Yesterday, Call Me Madam, The Threepenny Opera, and Kiss Me, Kate. She appeared opposite Shirley MacLaine in the film version of Sweet Charity. Ms. Rivera will not only sing her famous broadway songs, but she will grace the stage with her dance and captivate the audience with her life stories spanning over the last 40 years.
