Caron Wheeler is a two-time Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter, producer, advocate and humanitarian. Caron Wheeler's international music career began in 1989 with the Grammy Award-winning group, Soul II Soul, in London with Jazzie B (aka Trevor Beresford Romeo OBE -- "Order of the British Empire"). This year marks twenty years since Caron's voice first caught collective and international attention with Keep on Movin' and Back to Life -- two of her most popular, signature songs that are still global favorites that can be heard in clubs and on the radio everyday around the world. Both songs are indeed anthems for continued hope and have also been performed at international festivals, benefits, professional league ball games, fundraisers, and as part of commercials and motion picture soundtracks.

Among various international performances this year, Caron performed during the Hennessy Artistry 2009 concert on Wednesday, October 7, 2009 in NYC. An all-star lineup included, The Roots, Common, Queen Latifah, Q Tip, Don Omar, and Bilal, among others. Caron also appeared in Times Square on Saturday, May 2, 2009, for the 2009 EIF REVLON Run/Walk for Women, and then later performed her legendary hits near the finish line in Central Park. An all-star lineup, including, Jimmy Fallon, the event's host, was joined by REVLON Brand Ambassadors Jennifer Connelly and Jessica Alba. Fran Drescher and WPLJ's Race Taylor were also participants. Ciara, joined by Songs of Solomon choir, provided a special performance.

In 2008, Keep On Movin' was heard at a number of pep rallies on the campaign trail. Caron performed at a Presidential Inaugural Ball for President & Mrs. Obama on Monday, January 20, 2009 in Washington, DC. She hopes to formally perform at The White House marking such a milestone of her music, as well as, reflecting the historical significance of current times. Caron continues to perform with a global perspective to effectuate change. Her words also continue to serve as a message of hope and encouragement for many.

Caron's new music releases and anniversary release with Soul II Soul are forthcoming in 2010. Caron has several cross-marketing, multimedia endeavors in progress; plus, involvement with a number of international initiatives, causes and charities that have personal and endearing meaning. As a proud resident of NYC, Caron joins a host of celebrities in support of the work and efforts of New York Cares. Beginning December 2009, Caron's voice can be heard in a song co-written, produced and arranged with composer/producer, Alan Zahn www.analoguemuse.com. The promising, volunteerism campaign for New York Cares debuted at the organization's annual benefit dinner.

Hopeful wish-list performance collaborations for Caron Wheeler include the blessed talents of Chaka Khan, Tony Bennett, Omar, Bono, Usher, John Legend, Joss Stone, The Roots, India Arie, Floetry, Sting, Maxwell, Roz Coleman, Craig T. Williams, Kelly Clarkson, Rick Ross, Lee Summers, Justin Timberlake, Jill Scott, Sherri Shepherd, Q Tip, Ken Davenport, and others.
