Cafe Carlyle to Launch SECOND ACT Series with Stacy Sullivan, 3/1

The Carlyle, A Rosewood Hotel brings the late night, downtown vibe to the Upper East Side with its new "Second Act, A Late Night Series of Fun and Entertainment" at the Café Carlyle. The new series begins March 1st in the iconic cabaret room and will host the series of performances on Thursday, Friday and Saturdaynights at 10:45pm, following performances of the Café Carlyle's regularly scheduled season lineup. Stacy Sullivan will kick off the Second Act Series, followed by Jo Thompsonand "Midnight at Gatsbys: The F. Scott Fitzgerald Songbook.

The Café Carlyle's "Second Act, A Late Night Series of Fun and Entertainment" opens with cabaret favorite Stacy Sullivan, who will be performing her new show "It's a Good Day/A Tribute to Miss Peggy Lee," March 1-2 and May 2-4. Following Ms. Sullivan, Jo Thompson brings blues and soul to the stage March 21-23 and March 28-30. Jon Weberand Will Friedwald's "Midnight at Gatsbys: The F. Scott Fitzgerald Songbook," the Fitzgerald era inspired music medley will be playing April 11-12, 17-18, and 24-25. The cast will be announced at a later date.

The Café Carlyle is one of the most iconic performance venues in the world. Since opening in 1955, the storied room, located in the legendary Carlyle hotel (35 East 76th Street at Madison Avenue), has provided a singularly intimate New York cabaret experience featuring musical performances by such legendary entertainers as Barbara Cook, Woody Allen, Elaine Stritch, Judy Collins and the incomparable Bobby Short.
