54 BELOW, the new performance venue located just below legendary Studio 54 at 254 West 54th Street, presents some of Broadway's brightest stars this July.

MX JUSTIN VIVAN BOND, two added performances on July 20 & 21 at 11PM:

Extended by popular demand, Mx Justin VivIan Bond plays two newly added late night engagements on Friday July 20 and Saturday July 21 at 11PM. Silver Wells, an evening based on the newly released album of the same name, covering songs made famous by Ronee Blakley, Kate Bush, Leonard Cohen, Tracy Chapman, Joni Mitchell, Mark Eitzel and Brecht & Weill, among others. Silver Wells is inspired by - and takes it name from - Joan Didion's 1970 novel Play It As It Lays. In the show, Bond chooses a group of songs that allow V to cover the book's themes of nihilism, postmodernist identities, loss and the retrieval of memory. Doors open at 10PM. Cover charge: $20-30. $25 food and beverage minimum.

Jamie deRoy & FRIENDS, tonight, July 16 at 7PM:

Join Jamie on July 16 when her guests will be Drama Desk and MAC Award nominated actress Christina Bianco (Newsical The Musical); one of the country's most popular standup comedians, Emmy Award winner Kevin Meaney; multi-platinum award winning recording artist and songwriter David Pomeranz; and original "Jersey Boys" cast member (Bob Gaudio role) and heart-throb concert singer Daniel Reichard. Ron Abel serves as musical director along with Tom Hubbard on bass, and Barry Kleinbort will direct. Performance begins at 7PM. Musical theater writer Joe Iconis (Bloodsong of Love, The Black Suits, ReWrite, The Plant That Ate Dirty Socks, Things to Ruin) brings his unique mash-up of showtune cabaret and rock and roll jamboree to 54 Below. Join Mr. Iconis and his merry band of musical theater punks as they roar their way through a set of Joe's incendiary songs. The huge cast of brilliant actor/singers, lunatic musicians and legendary special guests will offer you an evening where searing character studies meet drunken back room sing-alongs. This is no mere concert. This is a great, big, howling love-letter to passionate musical theater at its best and bloodiest. Grease up your kazoo, fill your whiskey glass and stay for a while. It's going to be a helluva night.
