"The Leading Men IV,' a benefit concert for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, will be held Monday, May 11, at 7pm at Birdland, 315 W. 44th St. As part of the long-running Broadway at Birdland series, it will feature top singers from Broadway and cabaret. John Tartaglia (Avenue Q, Shrek The Musical) will host once again, and Emmy-nominated writer, host and comic Seth Rudetsky returns as musical director, along with director Alan Muraoka (NAATCO's Falsettoland).

"The Leading Men IV" concert is produced by Wayman Wong, who edits entertainment for the New York Daily News. He originated and wrote 'The Leading Men" column for Playbill.com from 2003-2006. Since 2005, the "Leading Men' concerts have raised thousands of dollars for Broadway Cares, and alumni from the three previous soldout shows include: Matt Cavenaugh, Cheyenne Jackson, Aaron Lazar, Matthew Morrison, Hugh Panaro, Daniel Reichard, Jai Rodriguez and Christopher Sieber.
Michael Dale, a critic at BroadwayWorld.com, has called 'The Leading Men' concert 'a wildly entertaining boys' night out [where] the sellout crowd leaves all smiles.'
Premium tickets are $100 plus a $10 food-drink minimum. General seating is $50 plus a $10 food-drink minimum.
