Today, June 23, 2013 at 3pm The Just A Piano Concert Series presents one of the greatest performers of all time in tribute to one of the greatest performers of all time, the legendary Adam Wade in Nat 'King' Cole Remembered, featuring Musical Director & Arranger Frank Owens on piano.

As a recording artist, crooner/actor Adam Wade enjoyed a string of hits, which include, "Tell Her For Me," "Take Good Care of Her," "As If I Didn't Know" and "The Writing On The Wall." Adam Wade was the first African American to host a game show CBS' "Musical Chairs." The series was recorded at the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York City, currently the home of The Late Show with David Letterman.

Wade also starred on daytime television soaps such as Search for Tomorrow and Guiding Light and also on primetime shows, Hill Street Blues, Dukes of Hazard, Law & Order and many more. Adam's comedic talent came to light on Sanford and Son, What's Happening, The Jefferson's, Good Times and others. His film credits include classics such as Come Back Charleston Blue, Shaft, Claudine and many more. Broadway audiences last saw Wade in I'm Not Rappaport and touring in the first national of The Color Purple. Wade also shared the stage in Staggerlee, with Ruth Brown, Same Time Next Year with Della Reese, Guys & Dolls with Leslie Uggams and many others.
